Many conservatives want to be your daddy, telling you what to do and what not to do, and many liberals want to be your mommy, feeding you, tucking you in, and setting your curfew. But the proper role for the government of a free society is to treat adults as adults, responsible for making their own decisions and accepting the consequences.The article also talks about how Hillary, and many others, want the government to push parents out of the way when it comes to raising children.

I saw this bumper sticker that really isn't pro any party if Condi's running. But it says, "Life's a Bitch. Don't vote for one!"
If your job is in government, it's in your best interest to make sure your employment is as secure as possible. That's why the parties in power need to meddle in the lives of citizens. It gives them more to do and guarantees a form of job security.
Unfortunately it's both annoying and probably unconstitutional.
